TV Venezuela to Debut On DIRECTV PARA TODOS® Programming Service

EL SEGUNDO, Calif.,  Nov 15, 2005   For the first time, the best of Venezuela's televised news and entertainment programming will be available to Venezuelans living in the United States via a new channel - TV Venezuela - exclusively for DIRECTV PARA TODOS ® programming customers.

The new channel is part of DIRECTV's ongoing effort to bring the best Spanish-language programming to U.S. Hispanics from their country of origin.

Launching in December, TV Venezuela was developed by SUR Corp. through an exclusive multi-year agreement with DIRECTV, which will package a wide range of programming, including entertainment, news, variety programs, comedy and sports coverage, from Venezuela's top-rated stations. Programming will include popular channels such as GLOBOVISION and Radio Caracas, as well as other regional content.
