Everyone across the country has heard of television. About the same number have heard of one of two, if not both, of the satellite TV providers known as DIRECTV and DISH Network. Although DIRECTV and DISH Network are well-known, many consumers do not realize that the majority of the primary service is performed by a retailer. A retailer is usually the one you call to set up an appointment. A retailer sends the installer to your home. A retailer even activates your system and shows you how to work it. Unlike DIRECTV and DISH Network national offers a retailer may offer special promotional gifts or rebates. Despite the vast number of businesses for satellite do not assume one retailer is in conjunction with another retailer. Most are small to medium sized businesses vying for your business and offering different incentives. One thing to keep in mind is that it is highly important to know the retailer you are inquiring with is an authorized retailer through DIRECTV or DISH Network. Only an authorized retailer can follow through with the information on the ad. Only an authorized retailer can supply current DIRECTV or DISH Network equipment and provide the current national offers for DIRECTV and/or DISH Network respectively.
Satellite Solutions is an authorized retailer for both DIRECTV and DISH Network. One way to note that a retailer is in fact authorized is to look for the authorization decal on the website or print ad. Also, an authorized retailer will have up-to-date graphics and logos (you’ll know a graphic isn’t correct if it does not look like one on DIRECTV’s or DISH Network’s site, commercials, or print ads). Usually the website is the best place to find the authorization. Many times by going through DIRECTV directly you will end up with installers who work on a case-by-case basis and not necessarily an installer trained specifically for your necessary arrangement. Most times, however, you will see a commercial or find a print ad, maybe a website and think it is DIRECTV or DISH Network directly and it is indeed an authorized retailer website. It is always a good idea to make sure you have the information you need regarding the retailer or DIRECTV or DISH Network numbers or websites in order to reach them again if necessary. Things happen and you may need to reschedule. Or another ad could come out and you decide you want to add a TiVo or DVR to your order. Many things can come up and it is always helpful to know the company you are doing business with, retailer or not. This simple step will make your entire satellite experience the better than any other service you’ve known.
