DIRECTV HD (High Definition) is something DIRECTV has had
out for about the past 6 years we have been in service.
Since we have began with HD (High Definition) we did not
have many channels and the equipment we did have was very
expensive for being only the receiver and the dish. However,
both of these things are necessary to get the DIRECTV HD
(High Definition) system. One reason the prices were so
high were due to the equipment, which was for all our customers
to own, there was no leasing of the equipment, like Dish
has recently set up. Another reason was due to how much
DIRECTV had to pay for the HD (High Definition) systems
ourselves.
We started our prices out at $999.99 over the years we have
been able to drastically reduce the price of our DIRECTV
HD (High Definition) systems to only $699.99 right now.
Also, for a promotion bonus pack we are going to be giving
you all the DIRECTV HD (High Definition) programming free
for the first 3 months of programming. Sadly, DIRECTV only
has 5 channels in HD (High Definition) to offer to our customers
right now; those channels are: ESPN, Discovery, HD Net,
HD Net movies, and any special events.
Just recently DIRECTV has launched a brand new satellite
into space designed specifically for DIRECTV HD (High Definition).
This satellite is going to allow many HD (High Definition)
channels. We are expecting to have some where around 1500
+ channels of all HD (High Definition) this will of course
include almost all areas being able to receive their local
stations. This is not in all locations; it will be determined
by your zip code. DIRECTV has tried launching this once
before, it was not successful; however, we have full confidence
that this time around will have complete success for not
only our company but also for all of our DIRECTV customers.
This particular new satellite will not only be for all new
customers interested in the DIRECTV HD (High Definition)
system, but all for our existing customers. DIRECTV is planning
on having a few different promotions going on around for
existing customers and new customers.
Existing customers are able to upgrade from their old promotions
with HD (High Definition) to a new promotion with new HD
(High Definition) channels and features. The new DIRECTV
HD (High Definition) customers will be getting everything
brand new with 100% picture, sound, and more effects than
DIRECTV HD (High Definition) has ever seen. Our new satellite
is going to knock the other satellite companies out of the
water; no one will be able to guarantee over 1500 channels
in all HD (High Definition).
