The $75 Cash Rebate is a cash gift offered to when you place a new qualifying order for DISH Network. It is only available by ordering through us. No one else is offering this deal. Once you place your order one of our reps will email you the redemption form. At that point you follow the redemption process and we send you $75!
What are the basic qualifications for today's promotion?
To get the best deals, our promotions do require a 24 month commitment to service and are based on approved credit. Some of the individual aspects of certain promotions have other requirements.
What does the price go to after the first year?
Today's promotion offers a monthly credit off your bill for the first 12 months. Some packages get a $10, $15, or $20 monthly credit. Each package is clearly marked in which discount level it is at.
What is the Free HD-DVR Upgrade that is advertised?
Typically there is a small fee to get an advanced receiver such as an HD-DVR on your account, however as a new customer DISH allows you to upgrade your primary receiver to an HD-DVR for free. The DVR service is still $6 per month, but there is no upgrade fee to get the receiver.
What does it cost to get started?
DISH charges new customers the first monthly bill at the time of ordering. With today's promotion there is no activation and we do not charge any type of processing fee. So all you have to pay to get started is your first bill and any upfront fees that may apply to you. In most cases, there are no additional fees. However, some equipment upgrades do incur an upfront fee.
Are there any requirements for the Free HD For Life promotion?
Yes. Along with today's promotional credit and contract requirements customers ordering the free HD for life service have to agree to AutoPay with paperless billing. DISH offers an alternative option if you're opposed to keeping your account on AutoPay. You can pay a one-time fee of $99 to activate the free HD for life service and you will never be billed for HD service.
What does "Free Equipment for up to 6 Rooms" mean?
Free equipment for up to 6 rooms is a phrase meaning that you are not purchasing the equipment from DISH. All new customers are enrolled in the lease program. So we are able to offer you enough equipment to service up to six TVs without any upfront equipment costs. This does not mean that your monthly bill will be the same regardless of how many TVs or receivers you activate on the account. Standard pricing still applies.
Does DISH do a credit check? Do I have to have good credit?
Yes. DISH offers promotions at different credit levels. The primary promotion offered through us requires that you pass a basic credit check. If you fear you may not pass the credit check, don't worry. Many of our customers do not think they will pass because of something that happened before and then they pass. It is worth it to let us submit an application for you and try. If you do not qualify for the primary promotion DISH will typically offer you another promotion designed for your credit level.
Is there a contract?
Yes. To get the best deals DISH asks for a 24 Month Commitment to service.
How soon after I order can I get installed?
We can usually schedule an installation within a day or two of ordering, but in many cases, next-day installation is available. In some cases same day installation is available. These are rare, and on a first come first serve basis, so the earlier in the day you order the better.
What is the DISH Platinum package?
It has been replaced by the new and exciting Blockbuster @HOME. This DISH Platinum was a premium HD channel package that offered free for the first three months with DISH Network orders. It included over 20 premium, and often commercial free, movie and lifestyle channels.
Do I have to cancel the free Premium Package deal?
Yes. If you enroll in the free 3 month trial period of HBO, Cinemax, SHOWTIME, and Starz it is your responsibility to cancel it prior to the end of the third month of service.
What does "Free Activation" and "No Process Fee" mean?
Some of the DISH promotions require a $99 activation fee. DISH waives this fee for all qualified customers and this is the common scenario for almost all of our customers. The processing fee is something different. Many retailers online or in stores make additional money by charging their customers a separate "processing fee" to take their order. DISH does not require this fee at all, so we do not charge a processing fee! Almost all of our competitors do.
Is DISH available in my area?
Probably! We are able to service all 48 contiguous states in the US. Unfortunately we are unable to service Alaska or Hawaii.
I already have DISH Network. Can I get these promotions?
As a national Sales Partner for DISH Network we are only able to offer these promotions to new customer orders. If you've had DISH Network in the past, but do not currently have service, then you will likely qualify for our "Former Customer" promotion which is largely the same. If you're currently a DISH Network customer, you will need to contact DISH directly to see what promotions you qualify for.
How can I see a list of channels?
Our website includes several pages dedicated to listing the channels and the channel packages.
Yes. Local channels are available in all areas, for all new customers. The Local Channels are assigned by geographical location.
I'm curious if I can watch a specific sports team or channel. Can you help?
DISH offers all of your favorite local sports channels, like FOX Sports and Comcast Sports, etc ... Similar to the local channels, the local sports channels are assigned according to your geographical location.
Is it possible to add one or two channels to a package?
Yes, but only certain channels are available to be added "a la carte" (which means; one at a time, or individually priced). Premium movie channels, and select other channels are available a la carte. The list of channels available a la carte for DISH Network can be found at the bottom of this page.
Can I change my programming package later, after I order?
Yes. You can modify your programming at any time. There is no fee to increase your programming level, however if you downgrade your programming package there is a one time fee. Typically this fee is only $5 per month. This fee exists so customers are not upgrading and downgrading their packages constantly, like every weekend.
Is DISH offered in other languages, like Spanish, Hindi, German, Russian, etc ... ?
Yes. DISH is well known for their extensive selection of International programming packages and channels. Click here: International Channels and Packages
Is DISH's HD programming offered in 1080p?
The short answer is yes, but there is more to the answer. Our receivers are able to display standard definition, and high definition resolutions: 480p, 720p, 1080i, and 1080p. All broadcast-level HD programming is either 480p, 720p, or 1080i, the latter two being the most common. The HD resolution is decided by the broadcaster, not DISH Network. This is the same for all TV service providers. Several premium services, like Video on Demand (VOD), or Pay Per View (PPV), are offered in 1080p. Not all TV service providers offer this level of HD resolution.
I heard your receivers operate two TVs, how does that work?
DISH Network offers receivers that can operate two TVs all from one physical box (receiver). These are called multi-room dual tuners (dual tuners, or duo for short).
Both TVs get their own remote control and can be watching separate channels at the same time.
The physical receiver is located near the primary TV. In the diagram to the right, that is TV (A). TV (B) is connected to the receiver via standard coaxial cables (run through the attic, basement, walls, etc ...)
How does the HD Dual Tuner receiver work?
DISH Network also offers HD receivers that can operate two TVs all from one physical box (receiver). These are called multi-room HD dual tuners (HD dual tuners, or HD duo for short).
Both TVs get their own remote control and can be watching separate channels at the same time.
The HD Dual Tuners send an HD signal to TV (A) and an SD signal to TV (B). The physical receiver is located near the primary HDTV. TV (B) is connected to the receiver via standard coaxial cables (run through the attic, basement, walls, etc ...)
I have multiple TVs. How does that affect the pricing?
DISH Networks pricing is extremely straight forward and simple to understand. The best way to get the final pricing for your DISH Network system is to ask one of our live reps, because they are experts. However, if you'd like to get a basic idea, here it is:
The primary receiver is included in your programming package price. Most accounts utilize a dual tuner as their primary receiver meaning there is no cost for having the second TV on your account. The easiest way to visualize the pricing is to like this: Each TV getting DISH service beyond your primary receiver costs $7 per month.
Does DISH offer Video On Demand (VOD) service?
Yes. DISH offers an extensive library of both paid and free VOD programs. Many of the VODs are available in stunning 1080p HD quality.
Does DISH offer a Pay Per View (PPV) service?
Yes. DISH has a huge library of PPV titles. These range from shows, series, movies, and sporting events.
Can I program my DVR from my phone or computer?
Yes. With a downloadable app called DISH Remote Access you have the ability to access and program your DVR from your handheld device.
How many hours of programming can the DVR record?
This changes depending on the type of DVR you're using. Below you will see a list of DVR receiver types and models followed by the size of the hard drive.
Can I copy the programming from my DVR to a computer?
No. The Hard Drive that is inside the DVR receivers are using a special decoding and formatting method that is not compatible with most consumer grade computers.
Can I use my computer as a TV screen?
It is possible, yes. Whether or not you can connect your computer to your TV is entirely dependent on your computer, and not the receiver or the TV necessarily. If your computer accepts an input that is being output by the receiver then you can do this. This type of installation is not included in the free installation and is not officially supported by DISH Network's customer service staff.
What is the SlingLoaded Receiver (922)?
The ViP 922 is DISH's new HD-DVR receiver with Sling technology. Basically, in addition to being a multi-room HD-DVR for your home, it allows you watch live TV, or recorded shows on your Phone, Laptop, PC, or any compatible device connected to a high-speed Internet connection.
I heard I can watch TV on my phone, iPod, or iPad. Is that true?
Yes! There are two different ways you can do this. (1) You can access dishonline.com and watch select VODs from any device connected to the Internet. Just log in through your DISH Network account and off you go. This is not live TV. (2) If you have the 922 or similar SlingLoaded receiver or device then you can actually access live TV and even DVR events from your handheld devices, or even your computer!
Is it possible to watch TV on my computer over the Internet?
Yes. With the 922 or similar Sling activated receiver.
Does DISH support 3D TV?
Yes. 3D broadcasting is still extremely young, and the channels are extremely limited, but DISH has plans to support and nurture this growing market. Currently the only way to potentially enjoy 3D programming is with a 3D capable TV, the necessary peripherals, and DISH's 922 receiver.
Does DISH Network offer Internet or Bundled Services?
No.
I want the cheapest possible package. What is that?
The cheapest possible setup is a 2 room HD setup with the DISH America Programming package. The Price is $24.99 for the first 12 months and then only $34.99 after that. You get one HD Dual Tuner receiver. Your primary TV is HD and your secondary TV is SD. Both TVs can be watching separate programming at the same time and you don't pay anything extra to have the second TV on your account so this price is the same for a one or two room setup.
Are there any "hidden fees?"
There are no hidden fees. Whether you use our online ordering system, or order directly through a live rep (on the phone or the live chat) all fees and the total price of service both before and after the promotion will be explained to you, for your approval.
Do I have to pay taxes?
Yes, if you live in a state that has a Satellite TV service tax. Most of the time this tax is similar to or less than your state sales tax.
I've never had satellite TV before. How do I get started?
The easiest way to get started is to call on of our live representatives, or chat with them using our live chat program. We will walk you through the process from start to finish. In a nutshell, we discuss how many TVs you'd like to have service on, we find out what channels you like to watch and select a programming package that fits your needs, then we submit a quick instant application to DISH Network to see which promotions you qualify for (this is when you get discounts and tons of free stuff.) Once everything is in order we review the installation schedule and pick a day and time that is convenient for you. Certified technicians come out to your home, bring all the necessary equipment, and install your new DISH system. Then, you're all set! You will have access to everything DISH has to offer.
Where is the satellite dish installed?
This is going to be very slightly different for every account, but the basic idea is the same. The dish antenna needs to be installed in a location that allows it to the see the appropriate satellite in space. Don't worry, you never need to know how to do this. We take care of this part. Once the dish is positioned, even severe winds will be hard-pressed to knock the dish out of alignment. In all cases the dish faces South, but depending where you are in the country (US) the dish may need to face East or West as well.
The dish antenna is most commonly installed on an exterior wall of your home, or the roof. A mounting kit for the dish is used and is installed to local code. In some cases a wall or roof mount is not possible, or desirable from the homeowner, in which case we can install the dish on a pole in your yard.
I live in an Apartment. Can I still get DISH?
Yes. Many of our customers enjoy DISH Network from an apartment. The requirements, as far as where the dish goes, is slightly different for an apartment or condo than with a home, so we highly encourage that you give us a call or begin a live chat session.
In most cases, what DISH refers to as an "exclusive use area" is required for the installation. This can include a patio, porch, balcony, or similar area. "Exclusive Use" simply means that it is for your private use and not a common area, like a front patio, shared yard, or courtyard.
What if I move. Is there a service to move DISH with me?
Yes. If you're a DISH customer and you move to a new residence within the United States DISH will move you free of charge. It is simple; call DISH, tell them you're moving. Tell them when and where, and DISH sets up everything. You just pack up your receivers and bring them with you. Leave the dish at home. They will install a new one at the new address. The new address must be eligible to receive DISH service.
I heard DISH goes out in the rain. Is that true?
There is no system out there that is perfect. During a severe thunderstorm, it is possible to lose reception. But they have done studies and found that the DISH signal is 99.9% reliable. So if you do lose service, it is for a couple minutes (not hours) as with other companies. And you do not need a technician to come out to restore your service-- it will come back automatically.
Can I get DISH Network in an RV?
Yes. If you have an active receiver with DISH and a satellite dish antenna that is compatible with DISH's signal then it is easy to enjoy DISH in your RV. There are a couple ways to go about setting up this type of account. Far and away the most common is the one we deal with here at this site:
Sign up for a DISH Network residential account for your home. We will set everything up just like we would for any other account. Then you can have a dish installed in your RV by a local Camping World. Once this is all set up it is as easy as taking a receiver from your home with you when you travel.
Some people prefer to only have service in their RV. This is possible but it is something that will require you to contact us directly by either phone or live chat.
How do I program my remote control?
DISH uses smart code-enabled remote controls. This means that it is incredibly easy for you to reprogram your remote if anything ever happens to it. But, when you get installed all the remote controls are programmed to your receivers and your TVs by the installer so you will most likely not ever have to worry about this.
If you're an existing DISH Network customer, we recommend either (1) reading your owner manual, (2) contacting DISH Network customer service or (3) watching this video.
Does DISH Network have a Military Clause in the contract?
If you are a customer of DISH Network, and are bound by the DHA 24 (24 month contract) there is a military clause that states that if you are given orders, are deployed, or otherwise rendered incapable of fulfilling your agreement to DISH Network, by virtue of official US Military orders, the contract is dissolved and you are under no obligation. The customer will be required to present proof of military service orders.
My HOA or Landlord has restrictions or won't let me. What can I do?
Our installers are more than willing to comply with reasonable restrictions that your landlord or your Home Owner's Association (HOA) have placed on satellite dishes. In most cases, this is not an issue, but every once in a while the Landlord or the HOA are being unreasonable, or have placed a restriction on you that prevents you from getting service. It is illegal for them to do this!
The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) have well defined laws and documentation that you can use to protect yourself from these unreasonably imposed restrictions: http://transition.fcc.gov/mb/facts/otard.html
Why should I order through you, and not DISH directly?
We are one of the largest DISH Network sales partners in the country, and we service the entire country. We proudly offer all of DISH Network's new customer promotions, without adding a single penny of extra cost to you. Unlike other retailers, we don't charge any type of processing fee or activation fee. In fact, we offer an exclusive $75 cash gift w/ purchase. And when we place the order for you, it will be installed by a local company. Give us a chance to earn your business and call us today.
We have an A- rating with the BBB. We've been accredited with the Online BBB since 2004 and have been in the satellite TV business for even longer than that.
Most of our competitors are caught rebranding or changing their names every year or so because their ratings drop to low to gain any trust from new potential customers. We are here to stay and making you happy with your new DISH system is our number one priority.
What is the difference between DISH Network and Directv?
DISH Network and Directv are the two largest digital satellite TV service providers in the United States. They are in heated competition for your business. Both are great services and have their pros and cons. Our live reps are intimately familiar with the differences between DISH and DTV and will happily go over everything with you.
The main difference, and the most important for most customers, is the price. DISH has five packages that start under $50 per month for service in two rooms. Directv only has three. After the promotion, Directv's least expensive package is $65.99 per month and DISH's is just $34.99.
DISH Network has more HD channels and content than Directv does.
Give us a call or live chat and let us show you. We can beat Directv every time, and we're proud of that.
Why should I order through you and not another retailer?
Simple; Almost every single one of our competitor retailers charges a "processing fee" to take your order. That fee is typically $49.99. They will make it seem like this is a fee that DISH requires, but DISH does not require this fee. You are literally paying them to become a customer of DISH. We think this is ridiculous. We do not charge a processing fee.
Most of our competitors will try and "slam" you with other products during your sign up process, like magazines, email coupons, cruises, and things like that. This is all just a distraction. When you call us we are 100% focused on your DISH Network order, and anything else that you specifically ask us to help you with.
When you call us a friendly US Citizen will answer the phone and help you from start to finish. We do not outsource anything overseas for any reason, ever.
Does DISH offer more HD channels than Cable or Directv?
Yes. There is a lot of confusing advertising about this topic. We've laid out all the packages and actually counted the regular everyday channels offered in HD and DISH has the most, by quite a bit. Not only does DISH have more HD channels but we have more of the really big channels in HD. Give DISH HD a try - you will love it.
How do I report an error on this website?
. If the chat operator is not available, please leave a message and we will address the problem asap. We really appreciate it when you do this, so thank you in advance.
Where are you located?
