  • There are three different ways to order International Programming.
    1. Core Programming: If you're also ordering an American Programming package then you can also add international programming to your account. There are no extra programming fees besides the international channel or package cost.
    2. International Basic: Ideal for those who want International programming only. Includes 20 channels for $10 per month, plus the option to purchase additional International language packages.
    3. Chinese Basic: Ideal for those looking to purchase one of our East Asian packages. Includes 18 channels for $10 per month plus the option to purchase additional International language packages

• Can I just order one or two channels?
  • Yes. Depending on which ordering option you select (Core, International Basic, or Chinese Basic) the method and pricing is slightly different. Your live representative will be able to guide you through this process.

• Do I need a Social Security Number and credit / debit card?
  • Yes. In order to place an order with us, the account holder must have a social security number, which will be used to process a credit check, and a valid major credit or bank debit card.

• Do I have to pass a credit check?
  • Yes. To place an order for service with us, the account holder must meet DISH's credit criteria. The materials required for this are: basic information, plus a social security number, and a major credit or bank debit card.

• What if I move? or ove out of the Country (US)?
  • Dish Network will move your account anywhere in the US, free, once per year (12 months) as long as you have the DHPP. DHPP is free for the first nine months on all new orders. It can be added or removed from your account at any time.
    
    If you move out of the country (US), prior to the fulfillment of your contract agreement, DISH will consider this a breach of contract and you will pay the early termination fees and return the equipment to DISH Network. If you have to leave the country for military purposes, then you will be relieved of the contract.

• How soon after ordering can I get installed?
  • We can usually schedule an installation within a day or two of ordering, but in many cases, next-day installation is available.

• How long is the contract?
  • When ordering qualified programming, the contract is for 24 months (Two Years).

• What is the penalty for early termination?
  • $15 for each month remaining in the contract. You also must return the equipment to DISH.

• With the dual tuner, will I be able to watch separate channels on each TV?
  • Yes. Each TV can watch different channels at the same time. Each TV gets its own remote.

• What is the difference between DISH Network and Directv?
  • Directv is more expensive, and provides less value for your dollar. Otherwise, they are very similar satellite TV service providers.

• Why should I order through you?
  • We are one of the largest Dish Network sales partners in the country, and we service the entire country. So in addition to offering all of DISH Network's promotions, we also offer an additional $75 gift card incentive (qualified orders). Unlike other retailers, we don't charge any type of processing or activation fee (qualified orders). And when we place the order for you, it will be installed by a local company.

• Do I need a land-line (home phone service)?
  • No. The land-line activates certain features like PPV, and VOD. It also waives the TV (2) and TV (4) fee on certain equipment configurations.

• Is this system affected by the weather?
  • There is no system out there that is perfect. During a severe thunderstorm, it is possible to lose reception. But they have done studies and found that the DISH signal is over 99.6% reliable. So if you do lose service, it is for a couple minutes (not hours) as with other companies. And you do not need a technician to come out to restore your service-- it will come back automatically.

• What if the equipment stops working correctly?
  • Since the equipment is leased, malfunctioning equipment is replaced by Dish Network at no charge. Shipping and handling fees may apply if you do not have the DHPP.

• Who installs the equipment?
  • A local company will send a Dish Network Certified technician to come and perform your free, standard professional installation.

• What is a DVR or DVR Service?
  • The DVR is a digital video recorder. It is a receiver with a built in hard drive, so it allows you to record programs directly on to the receiver itself. So you can record all your favorite shows and watch them on your own schedule and fast forward through commercials. Or if you are watching a live program and you miss something (phone rings, doorbell, etc…), you can pause your show or even rewind it to see what you missed.
